HOPE

Margaret5 started this conversation
HOPE Hope is not merely an invention of the grasping soul. Hope is alive in all that can reflect its never-ending glory. Hope is in a summer’s breeze. It thrives in what you can see and feel and even in that which you cannot.  Hope is a boundless wonder that drives a failing heart. Hope gives reason to enjoy beauty and to cherish laughter. Hope gives reason to live. Hope is the work of a greater being, God our Father and Creator. Open your mind, body and spirit to hope and to God who loves you so, your healing and renewal will come from Him, for you were born from love and with purpose and through Him you will find it.

My HUsband was blessed in a very special way today. When we went to the DR this am for his heart test results we finished in a short time. We putzed around , went to lunch, I wanted some paper to make greeting cards and note cards for my web page to sell. I also found some great ideas to make post cards as well.. While i was taking my time looking at papers and styles he was burried in the book section. Being the Proud Marine he is [VietNam] he found several books on the Navajo Code Talkers, his father was one of the origional 29. He looked thru a number of books until he began thumbing thru what was to be the last one, rather giving up to see a photo of his fater or read about him; He discovered him in the list of the origional 29, followed by a number of photos of soldiers of which included his father. My hubby has not had photos of his dad in many years..... I broke into tears and told him he was getting the book the spare tire could waite ... I was so very happy to get him this book. I know he will read it cover to cover before he sleeps tonight. I am sure it will have to do with the photo of his father that he remembers from his child hood, to become more of a reality than a faded memory and allow him to connect again to his father....

My little voice said to turn here, and i did and we were at the office supply, I feel that it was HEAVENLY FATHERS' WAY TO TELL MY HUBBY THAT HE LOVES HIM DEARLY. in the fact that we even had the price of the book was amazing in itself.

I witnessed a blessing from our Heavenly Creator today!!!!!

I pray for him each day to over come his challanges, and the "potty-mouth" some teenager gave him is over come by love and caring not to say such things to self or any one else.. Thank you for the prayer, I plan to save it.. Cherokeeladyaz

You can .... print it out and carry it with you.

“Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Are you ever scared? Do you feel anxious, even panicked? Do you feel as though things are out of your control? We all do, at one point or another. That’s when we need prayer most. It is also important to remind ourselves of God’s promises in His Holy Word. Here are just a few of those promises:
In Psalm 16, verses 8 and 9, David acknowledges God’s constant protection: “I will always look to you, as you stand beside me and protect me from fear. With all my heart, I will celebrate, and I can safely rest.”
In Mark 5, when Jairus is told that his daughter has died, Jesus says to him: "Don't be afraid; just believe." Jesus afterward raises the child from the dead.
Always remember, whatever your concern, whatever your anxiety or fear, trust that God has you in His Almighty care and will answer your prayer according to His compassion. Therefore, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).”
Sent with God's love, (((hugs))) and prayers for you!

You are most welcome Cherokee Lady from Arizona. I have a prayer for you to say for your husband.

Dear Lord, I pray that You will give my husband a strong heart that doesn't fail. When he is ill, I pray You will sustain him and heal him. Fill him with Your joy to give him strength. Specifically, I pray for his PTSD and depression. Give my husband faith to say, "O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me" (Psalm 30:2). Thank you Lord, that  my husband will live a long, healthy and happy life. Thank You for Your healing touch upon my husband. Make every part of his body function the way You designed it to. Wherever there is anything out of balance, thank You for setting it in perfect working order. I pray that when my husband sleeps may he  wake up completely rested, rejuvenated and refreshed. In the sweet and precious name of Jesus, Thank you God for hearing and answering my prayers for my husband. Amen.

2 Kings 20:5 "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.

Have a God Blessed dday today and everyday to come.

Sent with God's love, ((( HUG's ))) and prayers~

YOur deffinition of HOPE is wonderful. I read it to my husband who has bouts of depression from  PTSD. Sometimes when i read such things to him before he falls asleep it seems to help him rest a little better to have a more positive thought as he begins to drift into the twilight of sleep.. Thank YOU so very much, I enjoyd it, and it brings a light into my inner self...
